With over 35 years of London market construction experience, Simon led the team in the creation of CUI in 2018. He led the HDI Gerling London Engineering Center up until 2006 when he moved to Canopius where he was Class Underwriter (Construction) until leaving to create 538 Underwriting in 2018.

Brad Green

Senior Underwriter

Brad started his career at Aon in 1997; with more than 25 years Insurance experience, of which 21 years are of trading UK and International Construction and Engineering business as a Lead Underwriter specifically within the London Market for Lead Insurance Companies. Having held various underwriting and managerial positions at Allianz Global Risks, Chubb Insurance and at Canopius Syndicate where he was part of the Lloyds Construction Consortium. His experience includes trading of all major classes of Construction, Engineering and Plant risks for major international corporate clients. Before joining Chase Underwriting in December 2020 Brad was a Renewable Energy Senior Underwriter at Aviva and Senior Underwriter at Ensurance MGA. Brad is an active representative at the London Engineering Group UK CAR market forum including providing technical support on various committees.

HAYLEY MAY

Assistant Underwriter

Hayley graduated from the University of Reading with a First Degree in Business in 2019. She began her insurance career at Chubb Australia, and then moved onto Chase Global based out of Melbourne. Hayley joined the 538 Underwriting team in February 2022.
